Executive Coaching
Companies have widely acknowledged
the transforming influence of coaching when it comes to solving
problems, setting and achieving goals, and thinking creatively. As the
global corporate world experiences change at an ever increasing pace,
the benefits of executive and team coaching have become the difference
that makes the difference.
Christoph Schertler has worked
with Fortune 100 Companies such as Dell,
Inc., La Roche Pharmaceuticals, GmbH and Oracle and uses his strong
NLP background to empower individuals and groups in a corporate environment.
Areas in Which Christoph Adds
Value Include:
- Building Rapport with Others:
the ability to connect with others on a deeper level so that both sides
feel acknowledged and understood. A skill that can make all the difference
between success and failure.
- Managing Your State: the
ablility to monitor your internal state and choose your behavior, even
under pressure, rather than acting like an automaton, ruled by your
emotions. This is a must have skill for negotiators and leaders.
- Dealing with Conflict Constructively:
Every conflict has an underlying structure that can be uncovered and
understood. Knowing the structure of the conflict is the basis for crafting
a solution that will restore harmony and potentially lead to great success.
- Giving Feedback: We all
need feedback in order to perform well. If we don't know how we are
doing, how are we supposed to improve? For most people, giving feedback
is difficult. They feel guilty for criticizing someone. Learning how
to give empowering feedback without being apprehensive is the mark of
a true leader.
- Leading Others: A true
leader can bring out the best in others. Being a true leader comes from
bringing out the best in yourself. In order to become a true leader,
start with learning more about yourself.

Other Things You Should Know
about PEC Coaching
Time Frames
A minimum commitment of 3 months is recommended. Experience has shown
that this time frame is needed to achieve and sustain the best results.
Coaching Types
Coaching is done on the phone, in person or per email. For further information
on each of these options, please contact PEC.
Confidentiality
All information shared with the coach will be confidential unless waived
by the client. An exception to this rule is if the client ever became
a threat to him/herself or others. In such a case confidentiality is waived
in the interest of the safety of all concerned.
Coaching is not Therapy
Coaching focuses on helping individuals to move forward with professional,
personal or lifestyle issues. It is not suited to help people with issues
that requite a therapeutical approach. If needed, the coach can refer
the client to a therapist.
Designing the Coaching Agreement
Coach and client agree on a number of ground rules to set the framework
for future coaching sessions. These ground rules are called the Coaching
Agreement. They can be adjusted at any time to accommodate the needs of
either the client or the coach, as long as both sides accept them.
Terminating the Coaching Agreement
Both client and coach have the option of terminating the coaching agreement
at any time, if either feels that it is not beneficial to continue. Under
such circumstances, PEC is willing to help the client to find a new coach,
if the client wants to continue being coached.
Payment structure
All payments are due at the first of a new month by check or money order,
made out to PEC. LLC. The cost of phone conversations and travel are covered
by the client.
